Built around children, families, and care that feels personal.

Meet Pedro

Hi! I’m Pedro Ortiz, founder of Pediatric Speech Therapy Solutions and a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

I founded Pediatric Speech Therapy Solutions because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to communicate with confidence. Communication is more than speaking, it’s how children express their needs, build relationships, learn, and connect with the world around them. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where children feel encouraged to grow while families feel empowered every step of the way.

As a pediatric clinician, I understand that every child learns differently. That’s why I take an individualized, play-based approach to therapy that is tailored to each child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. I strive to make every session engaging, meaningful, and functional so that the skills learned in therapy carry over into everyday life.

I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology while continuing to expand my knowledge through evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development. Therapy services are provided under the clinical supervision of a Texas-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 10 years of pediatric experience. Evaluations and treatment plans are completed by our supervising SLP in accordance with Texas regulations.

A practice created from what therapy should feel like.

At Pediatric Speech Therapy Solutions, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to communicate with confidence. Whether it’s saying a first word, expressing wants and needs, improving speech clarity, or building social communication skills, we’re here to support children and their families every step of the way.

Our practice was founded with one simple goal: to provide personalized, family-centered speech therapy that puts children first. After working with families throughout the Houston area, we recognized the need for therapy that is consistent, compassionate, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and challenges. That’s why we chose a mobile model: bringing high-quality speech therapy directly to children in the environments where they feel most comfortable and where communication happens naturally.

Our Approach

No two children learn the same way, which is why every therapy plan is individualized. We use evidence-based practices while making sessions engaging, play-based, and meaningful. We also believe that parents and caregivers are an essential part of the therapy process. By working together and providing practical strategies that can be used during everyday routines, we help children continue making progress long after each session ends.

We proudly serve children with a variety of communication needs, including:

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Speech sound disorders (articulation and phonology)

Expressive and receptive language delays

Autism spectrum disorder

Social communication challenges

Early language development

Why Home-Based Therapy?

Children often communicate best in familiar environments. By providing therapy in the home, daycare, or school, we can incorporate real-life routines into treatment, making new communication skills more functional and easier to carry over into daily life.

This approach also allows caregivers to actively participate in sessions, ask questions, and learn strategies they can confidently use between visits.

Our Commitment

When you choose Pediatric Speech Therapy Solutions, you’re choosing a practice that values:

  • Individualized, evidence-based care
  • Family collaboration and education
  • Clear communication and transparency
  • Compassion, patience, and respect
  • Celebrating every milestone—big or small

We know that starting speech therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our goal is to make the process as supportive and encouraging as possible while helping your child build the communication skills they need to thrive.

We would be honored to partner with your family and look forward to being part of your child’s journey.

Therapy should be collaborative, functional, and family-centered.

Progress happens best when families feel supported, informed, and involved every step of the way.
